When She Adopted This Cancer-Ridden Dog, She Had An Amazing Plan For Him

Typically, when people adopt dogs, they make sure to get a healthy, friendly, young puppy. The hope is that they get as much time with their dogs as possible, watching them grow from puppies into mature, old dogs.

Nicole Elliott is a little bit different, though. Not only did she buck this trend of adopting a young pup, she took in a terminally ill dog to give him the best life possible in his final days.

This is Chester.

Chester looks to be in a great and loving home for his last days on earth, and I don”t think he”d have it any other way. More people should follow in Elliott”s footsteps and rescue dying dogs to make their lives excellent for the short amount of time they have left.

Update: Chester passed away on July 10th having spent the last days of his life with his loving mom.
