“Ghosts” have a habit of unexpectedly appearing in the backgrounds of photographs. Most people don”t notice that the “ghost” is even there until they look at the picture later. This is exactly what happened to Bethany Harvey of Northern Ireland.
Bethany was spending some time with her baby nephew at home when she decided to send a Snapchat selfie to her friends. Bethany”s sister decided to jump in the background, so she captioned the picture with “Photo bombed!” She thought this was an appropriate caption, but Harvey had no idea how right she was…
Later that evening, a friend came over and pointed out something creepy about the selfie: a mysterious figure in a purple dress can be seen in the background sitting with their hands folded.
“A friend of mine came to my house that night and pointed out what looks to be a woman with her hands folded on her knees in the background, bearing in mind the picture was taken facing the living room door,” said Harvey.
Harvey is absolutely sure there was no one else around when the photo was taken. “There was nobody else in the living room at the time, except for the ghost girl in the purple dress,” she said.
This isn”t the first creepy thing that”s happened to Harvey in her house . “A lot of creepy things have happened in the house,” she said. “I don”t go into the living room in the dark anymore because I fear I might see something.”

I try not to buy into the hype of ghosts too much, but that photo is pretty darn convincing. If I were Bethany, I”d at least start sleeping with the lights on all the time after this occurrence.
