Do you remember the tree house you used as a fort/castle growing up? Sure, it was cool when you were 8 years old, but you”re probably not clamoring to spend the night there anymore. There”s no A/C, no bathroom, and no Internet. How can anyone expect to live in those conditions? If only a similar place existed to combine the best of both worlds…
Welcome to Atlanta”s tree house of wonder!
In 2000, Atlanta-based environmental activist Peter Bahouth built a fantastic fairy tale tree house in the forest surrounding the city.
Found in northwest Atlanta, the tree house consists of a trio of structures connected by footbridges.
The bridges connect structures with different functions a bedroom that sleeps two, a living room, and a deck.
The best part? Anyone can stay here for the night.

The tree house is listed on AirBnb for $350 a night. Sure, it”s certainly pricier than staying at an area Hilton Hotel. Regardless, you”re sure to get your money”s worth by staying in the grown-up version of your childhood hangout.
