Snakes and mice are natural enemies. The snake is the predator and the mouse is the prey. It”s just a law of nature. So when people buy snakes as pets, they obviously have to feed them. That”s why pet stores sell mice. Although they can make cute and cuddly pets, they”re mainly stocked as food for large reptiles.
But snakes and mice don”t always have to be enemies. Such is the case for this woman”s snake and his unlikely friend.
When Zoey”s aunt bought this mouse, it was intended as food for her pet python, but the two developed a loving relationship instead.
It remains to be seen how long this friendship will actually last, because things could get ugly the second this guy gets hungry…
I suppose that opposites really do attract in this case. Maybe that mouse”s days are numbered, but in an ideal world, they”ll remain friends for the rest of their days.
