Humans welcome members of different species into our families all the time. We share our homes with critters, from dogs to birds and lizards — everything in between, both feathered and furry. We embrace their hair that coats our couches and obligingly clean out cages on the daily. But what about when animal families open their doors (or, perhaps more appropriately, their burrows) to species different from their own? (Here”s a hint: it”s adorable.)
Here are Swarley and Bing, the prairie dogs of the Prairie Dog Pack, making their family official. Adorable.
They are very cute together.
And like to dress up as the sweet couple they are…BUT…
They also have plenty of room in their hearts for a pup pal, Biscuit.
Did we forget to mention they also have two duckling babies?
The Prairie Dog Pack has lots of fun together.
From afternoon strolls around the backyard…
These guys always manage to have a good time…
They even love to keep it cool on those hot summer days!
While Swarley and Bing still make time to don their cute couples outfits…
Their family really means the world to them!
Those two ducklings are growing up into ducks right before their eyes! Soon the feathered babies will outgrow the two heads of the Prairie Dog Pack! I”m sure they”ll still show their respect, though (…maybe, we all know how teenagers can be)! For more of this cuteness, you can follow Prairie Dog Pack on Instagram.
