Since mid-July, a heat wave has brought unbearable temperatures to Oklahoma. The warmth makes delivering the mail a very dehydrating task for the men and women of the Postal Service. That’s why local homeowners in the southern state are paying it forward with random acts of kindness. By simply leaving coolers on their porches, people are greatly increasing the quality of life for the hardworking men and women who have to walk in the horrid heat.
It’s nice to see how a relatively small act of kindness can brighten people’s lives and bring a community closer together. We need more of this in our world.
