Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live traveling from train to train with nothing but the clothes on your back? Luckily for you, you can see what that”s like without having to experience the harsh weather and even harsher confrontations with people on the train. A teenager who spent her early adult years riding the rails was a train hopper for five years and documented it all on camera. It really looks like quite the unique experience.

What a daring move. How is this even a real picture?

Making their way into the train yard. Yikes!
Life on the rails sure seems to be an exhausting one.
Not all of a train hopper”s exploring is done on the train. The rails can only take you so far–and to so many places.
Two train hoppers taking in the sights around them.
Wow. What an interesting lifestyle.
These images are absolutely amazing, but a life on the rails is not and should not be for everyone, as it does involve homelessness. Help put an end to homelessness by volunteering or making a donation to the National Coalition for the Homeless.
