There”s nothing worse than having a big, spacious backyard with no way to really enjoy it. You can spend all your time tending the garden and mowing the lawn, but if there”s no place for you to sit back, relax, and admire your work, what”s the point?
If you”re in need of a spot in your yard for a little R & R, you don”t need much other than a simple swing or seat. Once you see what this guy built, you”ll most definitely want one for yourself.
This was supposed to be a spot for rest and relaxation – it”s not exactly an oasis, though.
So he decided to tear the whole thing down.
He dug holes for posts that would support a new, better swing.
The supports were next. Using a table saw, he cut them to size.
Once the supports were installed, he began work on the overhead beams.
A stone patio would be the perfect finishing touch to the upgraded backyard.
He filled the cracks between the stones with concrete sand.
A trellis-like top added character to the swing.
And here”s the finished product!
Looks pretty relaxing to me.
This looks way better than the swing he had before. It just goes to show that a little change can make a big difference – all you need is the motivation to get it started. This is sure to be the ideal spot to hang out and admire his big backyard.
