He Endured Years Of Abuse, But This Pup Hasn’t Stopped Smiling Since His Rescue

It’s hard to think about, but animals are abused every single day.

They’re taught to fight one another, they’re neglected, they’re left behind when families move. While it’s easy to ignore the problem, it’s not right.

Mr. Jelly Lord is one of those unfortunate souls who was abused presumably his whole life.

When Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption pulled him from animal control, it was clear Mr. Jelly Lord had suffered from severe abuse.

His rescuers assume he was once a fight dog, but that doesn’t mean he’s even the least bit aggressive. In fact, he’s kind of a goofball.

After he arrived at the shelter, Jelly was placed in a foster home where he’s now getting spoiled.

He’s learning the joy that comes from a loving home and lots of toys.

“I brought you the toy you just threw. Thought you might want it back!” 󾌴󾬓

Jessica, Jelly’s foster mom, knows that a good attitude is what Jelly needs — she likes to jokingly say that he “just ha[s] a prominent overbite.”

He may look a little menacing with his big pit bull head, but when it comes down to it, he’s just a big snuggle bug.
