The small Dutch town of Noordeinde has been all aflutter lately. Previously just a tiny spot on a map, Noordeinde is now a desired destination for serious aviary fans…or anyone who wants the chance to have a giant eagle owl land on their head. Some residents believe that the friendly bird flew the coop from the nearby town, Oosterwolde. But regardless of how he came to land in Noordeinde, everyone seems to be pretty excited about the town”s newfound fame.
Can you imagine this predator coming at you, full speed?
But that”s just what happens in Noordeinde.
For anyone not privy to this owl”s fame…
It might look like he”s going in for a kill!
He just wants to say, “What”s up?”
“Until next time!”

Even though he”s a friendly bird, you may want to stay clear of this little corner of the Netherlands if you”re afraid of birds. If you can”t handle a pigeon on the sidewalk, you may not be able to handle a taloned, sharp-beaked hunter zooming full speed towards you!
