What do a coaster, painter”s tape, and a razor have to do with refurbishing a table? Upon initial consideration, nothing. But one guy got a little creative with his at-home remodeling project and made use of these unlikely items.
The used table he”d acquired left a certain something to be desired. It needed a little extra TLC, so he decided to add a brand-new design to the surface. How he did it is just as cool as it turned out.
Instead of using professional tools to create the design on his table, he decided to improvise.
To create the awesome geometric design he envisioned, he used a coaster, a razor, and painter”s tape.
The coaster served as a straightedge, and he used the painter”s tape to create shapes on the table.
Next, he stained the wood and removed the tape, revealing the awesome patterns.
He then filled in some of the triangles with a pop of color and added a layer of polyurethane.
Here”s the finished table.
For the tools at his disposal, this guy created a pretty awesome design for this table. It just goes to show, you don”t need much to make something 100x better than it was when you started!
